Day One

Arrive on the afternoon flight to Utqiaġvik and settle into your accommodations. We’ll kick off with a welcome meeting and orientation, including an introduction to local cultural experts and Arctic scientists who will guide us throughout the expedition.

Arctic Discovery Educators PD Expedition: July 13–16, 2026

Day Two

Spend the day immersed in Arctic field activities, exploring the tundra and visiting key sites. Meet with scientists and community experts—including search and rescue personnel—to learn about their vital work. Optional evening activities may include an Arctic movie night or a northern lights drive.

Day Three

Continue engaging with Arctic researchers and cultural leaders through in-depth sessions and hands-on experiences. Enjoy discussions on environmental challenges and community resilience. Optional evening outings might include wildlife spotting or storytelling under the stars.

Day Four
